Bio

Born in 1978 on Curaçao, the Netherlands Antilles, I’m an Erasmus University of Rotterdam business graduate dedicating my time to painting and photography.

The challenges I seek are to capture moments in life and materializing the magic into images.

After my business studies I decided to follow my heart and embark on an artistic adventure. In 2003 I chose Florence as the city which would inspire and teach me the craft of fine arts. My search brought me to several schools and private studios like the Angel Academy of Art, Accademia delle Belle Arti di Firenze, Rossotiziano Centro Arti Visive and the Florence Academy of Art where I graduated in 2008. I received a classical education, following the teachings of the old masters.

Overwhelmed by the natural beauty I found on the coastal area of Tuscany, Paint Away Tuscany has come to life offering courses accessible to anyone interested in landscape painting.
